Okay, where is Ms. Gamboa? It’s like 10:15 … she’s usually here. I would call her, but I don’t know her number. But I know she’s been here since the door’s unlocked … *shrugs* Oh well. If she’s still MIA after I type this I’m going down to the barn. Man, I’m so tired. I don’t know how I’m gonna manage once school starts — just getting up at 8 is hard enough, I don’t want to have to be ready by 8 lol. And my stomach feels weird from something … it’s not the toast I had this morning, ’cause I felt bad before that. But it’s probably nothing and will go away in a few hours *sigh*
Anyway … ooh she’s back, so bye for now!

Blah … well, I’m at school right now, so far things are pretty easy. All I gotta do is install/uninstall programs (Photoshop, PageMaker, Norton, AIM, MSN, etc.) and set up computers … and right now everything is done in the upper lab except for having to put Norton on 2 more machines, which takes forever, so I’m just like hanging out online ’til that’s done. Then I get to do every single thing over again in the basement lol. I also gotta go down to the barn soon and ask about riding — I wonder if they’ll let Brian ride here. That’d be freakin’ cool if they did.
Anyway, the only thing that sucks about coming here every day is all the gas I’m gonna use (as well as getting up early) … I mean geez, I’m gonna use a tank in like 3 days. When it’s usually about a week or so. And it doesn’t help that all of a sudden Citgo doesn’t wanna take my gas card unless I bring it inside, which is annoying (like all the slow people on 50) … but yeah, other than that, it’s all good.

Dude … my dad rocks, ’cause he found my favorite kind of ice cream (Ben & Jerry’s Vanilla Caramel Fudge) at Westover Market (of all places, haha). So yay. And then Ms. Blue finally emailed him back, and he forwarded me that — so basically from now until school starts, I’m gonna be driving out to school almost every weekday to help with setting up computers and stuff. And maybe house-sit, too, as well as spend the night a few times (to cut down on driving time). So yeah … I’m gonna call her soon and see what’s up. And remember to say that I’ll be busy Monday night, lol.

Okay, I’m tired. When I get home I call Shaune, and Willi answers, and says they’re lost out in the middle of nowhere looking for some party, and that she’ll call me when they get back to Arlington. But no. I wait around for 1 1/2 hours, and then when I’m about to fall asleep on the couch (from watching TV), I check online, and Shaune’s left me like 10 messages saying to come to Louie’s, to call her, etc *sigh* I’m always in the right place at the wrong time. But oh well, her loss. I left her like 10 messages in reply saying that I was about to pass out, to tell me about it later, and leave me details on the party. So yeah … *yawns* Who knows how tomorrow’s gonna go. I have no idea what’s going on.
And tonight with Brian was pretty cool … watched The Fast and the Furious, had dinner with his parents (which went well … I think), went biking … among “other” things. Trying not to be paranoid and think that guys care only about sex, ’cause sometimes it seems that way. But, of course, I’m probably just making a big deal out of nothing, in the morning I’ll be fine, and everything will be happy again.
And Brad, you can go to hell. You might be a nice friend, but you turned out to be a crappy boyfriend — since I still haven’t gotten it out of my head that things aren’t always how they seem. Especially with relationships *sigh*
Well … I’m going to bed. And hoping that my dad doesn’t wake up and kill me for being up at 3. Oh no, like I haven’t done that before.
Oh yeah, and Heidi signed my guestbook at WNC! Yay! I haven’t talked to her in a long time, and a few days ago I remembered her and her site and paid THD a visit. So yeah. Gotta say hi to her again. Speaking of which, I gotta call my new girl … and start a new freakin’ book for summer reading. Fun. And I still can’t remember what it’s called.

Tonight was pretty cool. Louie, Shaune, and I all walked into Georgetown from Rosslyn, had dinner at Uno’s (since the other Italian place we wanted to go was too expensive), and then walked on Wisconsin Ave. from the 1300s to the 2400s, lol. Candlestick Ashtray, one of Shaune’s favorite bands, was going to be there — and they were, we could see them from the window. Except we find out the hard way that it’s 21 and up (how was I supposed to know, the stupid place didn’t have a website). But oh well — screw them. So we walk back to M street, stopping at Safeway to get a drink. Once back where we came from, Louie gets ice cream at Haagen-Dazs, and then we walk back over the bridge and to the car. Simple, right? No. As we’re finishing crossing the bridge, Shaune’s cell rings, and it’s Jen — she’s having a party at her place (Jose, Heather, Scuba, Jen, and Scott are already there). Of course we all wanna go, and also decide to stop by Chris’s place (since he’s close), see who’s home, and bring whoever’s there (which turns out to be just Chris). So we do that, stop by my house so Shaune can get her car, and then go to Jen’s. Everything’s cool over there — at one point Shaune tries to draw a picture of me (which she COULD do if she took the time), but it didn’t turn out too well, lol. Then we just hang out for a little bit, and soon after start playing True Colors. A game where “you find out what your friends really think about you.” LOL. There was one question that everybody picked me for, it was something like, “who do you think has a hard time saying no?” Haha, yeah right. I guess it IS kinda true, but only in the sense that everyone thinks I’m too nice. I say it when I need to. Yeah
Anyway, by then it’s about 1 am, and people want me to spend the night, so I call my dad to ask. Twice. Both times no one answers. So I’m like, okay, I’m gonna go home and see if he’s up. If he is, I’ll come back, but if he isn’t, I won’t. He isn’t. And now I’m here, randomly typing about my day, not caring (for once) about reading this post over and making sure it sounds good. Haha. And I’m not tired. I should probably finish The Shipping News before bed … and then, well, sleep. Duh. Oh, and for anybody who cares … AIM+ is awesome, except the History Viewer gets screwed up after a week or two. At least mine did *shrugs* Well, sayonara (or something) for now!
And *hugs* to Brian
You rock! “Triple X” tomorrow? And did you see the section I wrote about Heather’s party? What do you think?
Note to self: get Sugarcult tickets!

Since my head’s about to hit the keyboard (I’m tired), I’m not gonna write much … just wanted to say that blading yesterday and biking today with Brian went pretty well, aside from him being sore and his bike being annoying lol.
Oh yeah, and guess what I just realized? Today (well, the 7th) was our 1 month anniversary! Yeah we met on the 6th, but nothing really happened until after midnight
I’m also kinda glad about that, ’cause the 6th was Brad and I’s anniversary, and that would just be weird lol.
*shivers* And why is it so freakin’ cold all of a sudden? It was nice during the day, but no, it has to go and get all freezing now. I mean, geez, I’m wearing polartec pants and have a blanket draped around me … and I’m still cold! What am I gonna do during the winter? Then again, freezing to me is like 65/70 degrees. So what do I know.

I’m going blading again today! Yay! As well as to the store, ’cause there’s like no food in this house
By the way, guess what? Erica hooked up with this guy Eric (lol, look at the name similarity) at some camp she went to in Indiana, and they’re so cute! He devotes songs to her in his away messages, calls her Koolaid (dunno why) … but yeah, it’s cool, she needs a guy
And she better tell me more about how camp was next time I see her — she says I gotta see his picture and stuff.
Also, I just might finish The Shipping News today — and then I’ll be halfway done with my summer reading. But I’m sure if I really push it, I can finish the other two books on time. Plus, I’ll have a week of doing nothing at school before classes actually start, so that’ll give me more space. Which is mostly good *counts* 18 days ’til I gotta leave … ![]()
