Went to Fair Oaks and Bed Bath & Beyond tonight. Got a bunch of plastic bins, sheets, towels, shower basket, suitcase, power strip, birthday card for Aunt Ann, wall hook … and I think that’s it. And at Fair Oaks, I got some more shoes at Payless
So yay.
Damn, my Hanson friend Caryn wrote me and sent me some art and a new picture of her to put up on WNC — and geez, she could definitely be a model. Wish I looked like that, but oh well
Thanks to Blogger for taking like 100000 years to post this ![]()

Ooh, cool song (”Drift” by Neve):
Silver spirals around the sun
Constellations spinning
And dissolving one by one
The frequencies are out of reach
The phosphorescent halo
Of the universe at peace
I know that time will pass us by
A twisted rearrangement
That makes us wonder why
The two of us will become one
Until it’s over
And the moon becomes the sun
It moves the earth
I feel its worth
The ground will start to shake
It’s what happens every time
The two exist
This continental drift
So take my hand and drift away
This atmospheres’s not perfect
But it is what we create
An endless dance of stars so bright
A supernova
Radioactive liquid light
And as we float through space
Not knowing what’s ahead
Or what will fall into place
I dream of the black hole
That pulls us in
The argument of life
That I can’t win
This continental drift
Don’t you want me here
I’m filling in the space
That keeps us from near
It’s what sets us all apart
The artist from the art
And right back at the start
It’s the mind against the heart
This continental drift
Continental drift
I also changed my desktop image … I’ll have a picture up the next time I restart (’cause all the colors don’t work yet). Anyway … I’m getting bored here, but I haven’t seen Ms. Gamboa or Ms. Blue since about 12. And I know that going to some meeting and eating lunch doesn’t take 3 hours, lol. Maybe they’re in schoolhouse … oh well, I gotta take some new mice over there anyway, so gonna go do that soon.
Yay, and Dad and I are going to Bed Bath & Beyond tonight to get stuff for school. Not that the school part is any fun — it’s the stuff part that is. Haha. Wonder how much he’ll let me get …
Oh yeah, and I found this really good sandwich today at Dank’s. It’s called The Berkley, and it’s spinach, tomato, extra virgin olive oil, cracked black pepper (I’m typing this from the menu), grilled chicken breast, and melted swiss cheese with mayo on a 7″ sub roll. Yum. Except I got it without tomato. Anyway, well the computers are calling me (or something) … so talk to everyone later!
And grr … I have 2 days left of freedom.

Man … yesterday was long, lol. Up at 6:30 am and back in bed by 1:15 am. Not fun, haha. Although it was spent with Brian, which I can’t complain about
Okay, wtf? Why does Shaune keep calling Brian’s house after 9 (like 4:30 am), even after I’ve told her more than once not to? I mean, yeah, I admit I haven’t seen her that much lately … but still, geez. Why would I even be there at freakin’ 4 in the morning? *sigh* But I don’t want us to be on bad terms before we go away to school and stuff … grr, why does school have to start? Oh well. Anyway … I should probably go soon and finish laundry and take a shower and all that … so bye.

*sigh* I’m so glad I can go home soon, lol. I’ve had a headache all day, and definitely could fall asleep right here at the keyboard if I wanted to. Man, things are busier with Ms. Blue back. But oh well … it’s still not that bad. And Brian needs to get online … I gotta know if we’re hanging out tonight
And hopefully I can get my laptop set up today before Ms. Gamboa leaves — or else the whole purpose of bringing it here would be defeated. What else … I had a really late lunch at Dank’s (and read a little of my boring book there) after the driving meeting with Ms. Leip (yay, I can drive to school this year!). So go me. And computer-wise, I worked on a few more computers downstairs, and then changed the names and IP addresses of almost all the ones in the library.
Yeah.

Blah … okay, well tonight was cool. Went with Shaune, Louie, and Jose to see Minority Report, which was fine except for missing the first 30 minutes and having to sit in the front row, which gave me a headache. It was basically about these girls who could predict the future, and cops trying to stop the predicted murders as they happened. Yeah. Once that was over, we all went to Chris’s and had drinks, a little pizza, played GTA III, went online, talked, and played hackeysack. Then I had to go (and give Jose and ride home) … and now I’m here. And what was Brian’s previous away message (”not quite as busy as I’d prefer” or something) about? Probably the whole shower thing, but I dunno. Anyway, well I g2g and get some sleep ’cause I have school tomorrow (fun fun) — but I’ll type another post eventually. Bye!
Oh yeah, and I almost got hit on 66 on the way home — some van was changing lanes and didn’t see me, and they were like halfway over the line before they noticed (which made me go halfway into the other lane). At first I was like umm what are you doing and freaking out, but then he saw me and pulled back. I was like, okay, haven’t you ever heard of checking your blind spot? Grr. But at least the guy was apologetic about it and waved as I drove past. But yeah … like Brian says, people don’t know how to drive here
And yay, Shaune might have a party Tuesday night (when I, and Brian if he came, would actually be able to stay)! She better, ’cause I go back to school in less than a week, and leaving at midnight every time is getting annoying ![]()

Okay … so Shaune’s party is tomorrow at Chris’s. Grr. Why is everything always on a Sunday (and not Tuesday) night? But oh well, not like I can do anything about it … and we’re all seeing Signs or something beforehand. So that should be cool. Even though I gotta be home by 12 or something ’cause of school. Speaking of which, I gotta start thinking about packing, finishing summer reading … and going to some store (like Bed Bath & Beyond, The Container Store, Wal-Mart, etc.) and getting some containers for all my stuff.
And Brian, I didn’t mean anything by not mentioning Fred, Tex, Mitch, and Snowy. They’re all VERY cool and happy that you won them for me, hehe. Especially me
Also, tonight was awesome — it’s gonna suck when I go away for 3 weeks on Saturday. I’m gonna miss you! Also, I just downloaded a bunch of cool songs (like “Meet You There” by Simple Plan), so tomorrow morning gonna try to make some CDs … both from MP3s and Brian’s cool collection
And hopefully Ross won’t be on for 10 hours.
Hmm … what else … oh yeah, saw xXx again tonight! The first movie ever that I’ve seen more than once in the theater. Was happy to see the opening scene again, hehe. Rammstein and fire go so well together
But of course I forget the $5 off ticket that came with the soundtrack … but oh well. It won’t hurt to see it a third time. Brian and I also went and looked at this townhouse about 5 minutes away from him that my dad’s interested in. It’s pretty cool — 3 floors, one car garage, big backyard and deck, lots of outside space, looks clean, nice neighborhood. The downside is that there’s a trailer park across the street, but you can’t see it from the house, lol. Now we just gotta see the inside. So that’ll be interesting.
Well, I’m probably gonna go to bed soon. I’m talking to Shaune and Jose now, trying to figure out timing for tomorrow. And I really gotta find some time to read … and sleep. I don’t want to, but I always end up sleeping instead of reading, especially now that I’m commuting to and from school everyday. That really gets me tired — though it was no problem a couple weeks ago when I didn’t do much except see Brian *sigh* So yeah. What to do … that’s satisfying both ways. Well, gonna go to bed now … adios.
And fuck:
There’s a chance that you can get pregnant during a period, particularly towards the end of your menstrual cycle.
Sex during your period follows the same logic. You think to yourself, OK - my period serves to flush out the egg, so if I have sex during my period, I can’t get pregnant. Right? Not really. There are a few faults with this logic. First of all, as a teenager, your body isn’t always working like clockwork, which is why the rhythm method isn’t always the best option for teens either. In the same token, you may ovulate during your period, or the period simply may not work to flush out the egg. And, for most of your period, the egg is simply still there! It does reduce your risk very slightly, but only VERY SLIGHTLY. You should never have sex during your period as a means of birth control.
A woman isn’t likely to get pregnant during her period, but there’s always a chance- especially at the end of her menstrual cycle.
I know it’s probably too soon to think about that … but hey, I’m paranoid, and you never know …

Okay, so Silenced Lies moved … thanks for telling me whoever the owner is! And now it’s taking 100000 years to load. Stupid slow connection. Does it work for anyone else? Anyway. My stomach hurts again, I think I ate too much … or something. Blah.
I’m so gonna go to bed in like 10 minutes. The earliest I’ve gone to bed in years. Woah. But yeah, I’m about to fall over. Driving isn’t supposed to make you tired, is it? LOL. Oh yeah, and the fair last night was cool! I love going to fairs, and half the fun was standing in line with Brian
And going on rides, walking around, everything. Last time I went to a fair (with Brad and his friends) we went on like 2 rides, played 1 game but didn’t win anything, and then left ’cause we ran out of tickets or it was closing or something. It also sucked ’cause he barely paid attention to me (at least that’s what it seemed like), and what I thought was gonna be a cool night turned to just be like every other night. But no more ranting about him, I’ve done enough of that, haha. Now I have Brian, who is 100 times awesomer (so what if that’s not a word), actually cares, and is just as crazy as me … or something like that.
I keep thinking it’s the weekend tomorrow. Grr. One more day. But hey, it’s all good ’cause once I get through all the driving and crap, it’s anime night, and then Saturday. Time to sleep in. Haha. Okay, I’m going now. Really. Bye!
