Oh man, a lot has happened in the past 24 hours.

Okay, well the Sugarcult concert was last night, and it was so awesome! The first band who opened for them, Wakefield, were pretty good — better than the Riddlin’ Kids who were the second opener, hehe. Though their song “I Feel Fine” is cool to hear live. The first two played for about 30 minutes each, so by the time Sugarcult got on it was like 12 or something But it was worth it, ’cause they played all my favorite songs (”Pretty Girl” … lighter time!, “Daddy’s Little Defect,” “Bouncing Off the Walls,” etc.) and I got some merchandise (t-shirt, pins, CD, stickers) and a couple of their autographs. I couldn’t find the bass and guitar players after the show, which kinda sucked … but that just means I’ll have to go to another one of their shows to finish that task — which is definitely not something to complain about Even Brian likes them now, when before he’d never heard of them. So yay Yeah, it was just an awesome night, I was rockin’ out to all the songs, getting as much out of my last day of summer as I could — nothing being better than spending it with Brian and music. Hehe.

Oh yeah, and Brian, sorry that I wasn’t on earlier today — packing takes forever, especially when you think you’re running late. And guess what? I might be able to come home this week! After tomorrow, there’s no required leadership stuff that I have to do … so if not overnight, I’ll at least be able to drive in for the day, which would rock. I’ll find out tomorrow if I can. So yeah, just wanted to tell you that, ’cause I know you’d be happy *hugs* By the way, do you have that pic that Jasmeen took of us? I know you said it’s not that good, but I still wanna see it And semi-formal is October 19 — hopefully that won’t interfere with your football … hehe.

And today has been long … ’cause I’ve had to drive here and move in and carry stuff around and put stuff away. But it’s cool ’cause my room is awesome, I have A/C, and I’m finally a senior. I have “homework” to do tonight — read a 5-page thing that’s supposed to “inspire” us. Haha. But oh well. It’s easy. And I’m not alone with all the summer reading I have left to do — almost everyone I know is either in my place or further behind it So I think that’s good. Maybe.

Umm … what else. Oh yeah, out of all the stuff I brought, I forgot the PSAT test. I’m so pissed, ’cause last night I kept telling myself to remember it, but no. But if I come home this week, it’ll be all good.

Anyway, well I should probably go to bed now since I gotta get up tomorrow at 8 (whose freakin’ idea was it to take our ID and facebook pictures at 9 in the morning?) … so gotta shower and all that. Speaking of pictures … I just remembered that I gotta work on my senior page and start thinking about what I’m gonna do for my senior picture. Blah. But oh well … bye!

Ooh, and yay! According to here, Sugarcult’s coming to DC/VA again on November 24 and/or 25! And since that’s basically Thanksgiving, I’d definitely be home, so I could actually go for once, haha. ‘Cause usually when there’s a concert, I can’t go ’cause of stupid school. But not this time Awesome. Well, unless I go to New York and Connecticut again … which is probably what will happen … grr.
