Georgetown adventure, party.

Arrow Friday, August 9, 2002 @ 2:50 am

Tonight was pretty cool. Louie, Shaune, and I all walked into Georgetown from Rosslyn, had dinner at Uno’s (since the other Italian place we wanted to go was too expensive), and then walked on Wisconsin Ave. from the 1300s to the 2400s, lol. Candlestick Ashtray, one of Shaune’s favorite bands, was going to be there — and they were, we could see them from the window. Except we find out the hard way that it’s 21 and up (how was I supposed to know, the stupid place didn’t have a website). But oh well — screw them. So we walk back to M street, stopping at Safeway to get a drink. Once back where we came from, Louie gets ice cream at Haagen-Dazs, and then we walk back over the bridge and to the car. Simple, right? No.

As we’re finishing crossing the bridge, Shaune’s cell rings, and it’s Jen — she’s having a party at her place (Jose, Heather, Scuba, Jen, and Scott are already there). Of course we all wanna go, and also decide to stop by Chris’s place (since he’s close), see who’s home, and bring whoever’s there (which turns out to be just Chris). So we do that, stop by my house so Shaune can get her car, and then go to Jen’s. Everything’s cool over there — at one point Shaune tries to draw a picture of me (which she could do if she took the time), but it didn’t turn out too well, lol. Then we just hang out for a little bit, and soon after start playing True Colors. A game where “you find out what your friends really think about you.” LOL. There was one question that everybody picked me for, it was something like, “who do you think has a hard time saying no?” Haha, yeah right. I guess it is kinda true, but only in the sense that everyone thinks I’m too nice. I say it when I need to.

Anyway, by then it’s about 1 am, and people want me to spend the night, so I call my dad to ask. Twice. Both times no one answers. So I’m like, okay, I’m gonna go home and see if he’s up. If he is, I’ll come back, but if he isn’t, I won’t. He isn’t. And now I’m here, randomly typing about my day, not caring (for once) about reading this post over and making sure it sounds good. Haha. And I’m not tired. I should probably finish The Shipping News before bed … and then, well, sleep. Duh. Oh, and for anybody who cares … AIM+ is awesome, except the History Viewer gets screwed up after a week or two. At least mine did *shrugs* Well, sayonara (or something) for now!

And *hugs* to Brian  You rock! xXx tomorrow? And did you see the section I wrote about Heather’s party? What do you think?

Note to self: get Sugarcult tickets!
