Man, I’m tired. I got like half an hour of sleep last night, total. LOL, but it was still cool! Here’s what happened:
When Louie and I finally get to Shaune’s last night, we watch two very weird movies (Clockwork Orange and something else I can’t remember). I fall asleep during the last part of the 2nd movie, and afterwards they wake me up to go to some park by Heather’s house. I’m like okay, why not. So we go there for a few hours and walk around, talk, and “play” basketball. By about 7 or 8 am, Shaune (like me) is so tired she can barely stand up, so we decide to go to the Route 50 IHOP for breakfast. I get my usual (the Two Egg Breakfast or whatever), pay for myself, Jose, and part of the tip (I dunno why, but half of us were low on cash, I guess) … and then we all go back to Shaune’s. I get my stuff from the house, and soon after give Jose, Louie, and Heather a ride home. The total driving time for dropping them off is about 45 minutes, so I get home around 10. I call my dad to tell him I’m back, and he tells me not to go out tonight ’cause I’d have crappy driving skills. But whatever *yawns*
There was a 15-minute hail storm yesterday while Brian and I were blading (at an indoor rink) — it was cool! The hail was about a 1/2 inch in diameter and didn’t do too much damage, but it was so loud on the metal roof that you could barely hear the music, and they had to stick paper towels under the doors ’cause water was leaking in. It was crazy, but definitely an “adventure” … of some sort.
Blading itself was awesome, though … I now love skating indoors, ’cause it’s smoother and faster, and you don’t have to worry about hurting yourself as much. I think we spent about 2 or 3 hours there (one reason why I’m so tired), but it was definitely an awesome thing to do. We’re probably gonna go again sometime soon.
A few hours after that and running some random errands, we head back to his place ’cause it’s anime (gundam) night. His friends (Greg and Dan) were cool despite talking a lot, and they made good food (lamb and corn on the cob) and brought wine, which is never a downside
But then Brian got annoyed with them since they left his kitchen a mess, among other things.
We also watched most of the Redskins game. I have almost no interest in football, but it’s a generic hobby of guys lol, so can’t do much about it. Brian opens his bottle of Lambrusco around midnight (after Greg and Dan leave), which tastes a little better than whatever we had with dinner. Then we go up to his room for a little bit, but Shaune calls in the middle of things and in the end I agree to pick up Louie around 1:30 … so I guess the “girly thing” or whatever she was originally planning is going to include guys after all. Personally, I don’t mind, ’cause seeing Jose and everyone is always cool.
Well, I’m either gonna go to sleep or take a shower now, and then get back online and see what’s up … maybe do some laundry later, and read. So adios.
