Oh man, tonight was pretty cool. First off, I’ve driven like 100 miles today, haha. I don’t think I’ve ever done that, save for going/coming back from trips. Also, I’m so glad my dad isn’t up right now. Chris’s roommate Amanda spilled her drink on me, and if my dad was awake and had noticed, he’d be so pissed. And she was smoking like non-stop, so I probably smell like that too.
God, I can’t type right now. I dunno why, I have no motivation. Speaking of motivation, I really need to do more summer reading. Not like I have time for it, but yeah. I surprised myself — the day I came back from Cleveland I read like 45 pages ’cause I had nothing else to do. But when I’m here, it’s like a chore to make time to read, ’cause there’s so much other stuff I’d rather be doing. Yeah, the book’s interesting and I like it … but with the summer slowly ticking by, it’s less of a hobby. If that makes sense. But oh well. I’ll get it all done somehow. Fuck, I have 2 more 400-page books to get through by the time school starts. Fun.
Oh yeah, and the block party was pretty cool! My old house looks so small now, haha … ’cause when I lived in it I wasn’t my current height of 5′7″. OMG, and it’s so nice! I don’t know how or what the people did to it, but they completely re-did the basement, yard, porch area, everything. It’s crazy. I wanna live there again, hehe. They’re building 8 new houses on the Gault’s old property, so I guess I could if I really wanted to and had money … though it sucks ’cause all the trees there would disappear. Oh well. And I got to meet all my old neighbors, like Mona and Olive and Brett and the people across the street. They all couldn’t believe that I was 18 already, and going to college soon. So yeah, it was cool.
I’m finally up-to-date on Star Wars! I saw Episode II with Brian (his 10th showing or something) today, and it was pretty good — Yoda’s awesome in the last part. Oh, and note to self: go to CD Cellar again and visit the cool store in Clarendon. Yeah.
Well, dunno what else to randomly write down, so adios.
