Oh man … the concert rocked! TMBG are so awesome, I am definitely going to their next one around here. There was even this cute guy standing next to me, and we smiled at each other a few times, but then he disappeared, so I was like oh well, fuck it. And then Louie didn’t want the XL Minute Maid shirt that he caught, so he gave me that, lol. And I also caught one of the many confetti strands that fell during one of TMBG’s last songs. Man, they played for like 1 1/2 hours, but it felt like 10 minutes to me, haha. They were just so cool, now I know why they’re one of Brad’s favorite bands. Speaking of which, Spiraling (previously You Were Spiraling) were there too, and according to Brad’s MP3 page, they’re one of his big influences … so yeah, I’m guessing that he’s really hating his NM trip right about now, haha.
Aww, and when I got back home, I saw that Greg had left me a message, and he was like, hey babe … eh. He said he’d get back on, but apparently didn’t … *shrugs*. Then after the concert, we met up with Louie and his friend again, walked like 20 blocks to Soho, got some food there, and then took the metro back. And before heading home, we randomly went to Harris Teeter and drove around in Shaune’s car for like 30 minutes … haha, it was great. I now love DC Sessions, am so going to the Sister Hazel concert on the 20th … and maybe the 2 Skinnee Js and Concrete Blonde ones, too
As Shaune would say, rock the fuck on.
