It’s not just bees that sting.

Arrow Friday, April 19, 2002 @ 10:21 pm

*sigh* Today has been annoying. Morning meeting was way too long, double English, the rain, Ms. Heide making me go to the stupid play, tons of homework, things not being 100% with Brad … I dunno. I guess today had to be bad in order to make up for yesterday being good. OMG … and I just got stung by a bee too … how perfect is that *cries*

P.S. AP English list is posted Monday. So watch me not make it.

Semi stress, CD happiness.

Arrow Sunday, April 14, 2002 @ 10:45 pm

*sigh* I really should be doing homework right now … but I’m waiting for Brad to get online (he said he would at 10), and it’s 10:24. Oh well … at least I know he’s going through the same pain as me … doing papers, lol.

I’m surprised, though, I finished all of my history paper except for like half a paragraph (which I can easily do tomorrow), plus my algebra homework. Even though with that, I only did 1 problem out of 3, lol … 1 I didn’t get and the other we had done in class, so yeah. I dunno if the one I did do is right, but ah well … I’ll find out tomorrow and fix it.

I have my prefect interview tomorrow night at 7:45 pm too — gah, I’m gonna be so intimidated by Ms. Jackie, haha — she’s mean! But oh well, Erica was done with hers in like 3 minutes, so I should be fine.

I went rollerblading with Shaune today, too. Though my ankles don’t hurt like they did last time, my arm is sore for some reason … and I didn’t even do anything with it! LOL. Ah well … but dude, she is going through basically the exact same thing with Scott as I did with Brad after the thing at semi. Her friend told her that Scott might be cheating on her … and lo and behold, we just “happened” to skate by the house where his girlfriend or ex-girlfriend lives, and there’s his car! At least that’s what Shaune says. Though it didn’t go that far with Brad, it’s still the same — that suspicion of cheating. At first I didn’t know what to say since I’d gone through practically the same thing and was surprised, I did tell her that she should talk to him (which I think she did tonight) and find out what the hell is up with him (hopefully he’ll tell her the frickin’ truth). If she does dump him, she’s probably gonna go to prom with Delk (who’s cool), and even though he’s Scott’s friend, she was planning to go with him in the first place before she hooked up with Scott, so yeah. It’s gonna be interesting next time I talk to her, lol.

I saw Brad yesterday and Friday night too  It went pretty well. Friday, we “celebrated” (if ya know what I mean) our 3-month/11-month anniversary (depending on whether you count the break-ups), watched this really funny, old movie (forget the title), and did computer stuff. Aww, it was so cute when the CD Creator I burned him onto a CD worked. When it started working to close this one CD he’d forgotten to awhile ago, he was like, “omg … it’s working … ” and stared in disbelief at the screen, lol. Then, as he copied files from CD to computer, he was like, “thank you so much, Claire, now I know why I keep you” (in a joking way). Hehe. And proceeded to give me tons of hugs and kisses. So aww.

And then when I was saying goodbye to him after he’d driven me home, he leaned back against his car ’cause he was tired, and I put my hands behind his head so that it’d be more comfortable for him. We just kinda leaned against each other/hugged for a few minutes, and then he said, “you’re too good to me, Claire … you always do these little sweet things for me … I love you.” Of course I said that back (’cause I do so much), and we exchanged a few more hugs and kisses before he drove off. So yeah … it was a nice night.

Last night, he invited his friend Nick over and we went and played games at Mason. Just chillin’ and stuff. Brad and I played blacklight air hockey (he got embarrassed ’cause I kept beating him, lol), went online for a bit, and then played chess (I lost, ’cause I suck, hehe). By the way, my new favorite topping for pizza is black olives! They are so good with pepperoni, hehe.

But anyway … haha, I just spent like 30 minutes writing this entry … but I’m bored, and Brad’s still not online *pouts* Well, gonna go now and either download stuff or play DDR … so ttyl.

GD computers, AP English tryout.

Arrow Wednesday, April 10, 2002 @ 9:35 am

Aw, the past few conversations with Brad have made me happy again.

I also discovered last period that the graphic design computers are much faster than the ones in the library. It took me 10 minutes to copy 200 MB from my laptop to the computer I was on, whereas in the library it would take me an hour or two to do the same! So I was like woah — I am definitely making my CDs in the art room from now on, lol.

Hmm, what else … the lady who’s teaching the SAT prep class is really nice. I tried out for AP English yesterday … luckily the question was about this poem called “Blackberry-Picking,” but then Erica told me that I was the first person who didn’t write about the poem being about life. So yeah, something tells me I’m not getting into AP, lol. I had a dream last night that I did, though … hehe, it was random. At least I think I did … I remember Brad being in it and him asking me if I would be his life partner (aww), but who knows. I don’t

OMG, and over the past few days I’ve download all the rare/b-side/remixed Darren Hayes/Savage Garden songs that I didn’t have on CD. So far I have about 25, and am gonna make a CD with each on it, ’cause there’s not enough room on one CD. So yay … gotta do that either later today or tomorrow.

Anyway, well I g2g to algebra now, but talk to everyone soon!

P.S. “Get in the back, ahhh!” Hehe … GTA inside joke.

Bored and sore.

Arrow Saturday, April 6, 2002 @ 9:46 pm

I’m so bored. And sore *sigh* *goes to call Brad*

And he’s not there. Out with Will and Jai, according to his dad. Oh well … man, I miss him. I’d give anything to be cuddled up in his arms right now, instead of being bored out of my mind at school. At least the meet is tomorrow, which will give me something to do … although I can’t really sleep in. I also just read through like half of Reader’s Digest. The only homework I have left is to read TEWWG … which won’t take too long … so yeah. I need something productive to do. Already updated WNC …

Cold.

Arrow Saturday, April 6, 2002 @ 11:52 am

Fuck. I’m so cold. I swear, there was no heat in Fox/Hound … I’m still freezing too *shivers* And just my luck that I have to walk 10 miles or something for the walk-a-thon in the cold … omg.

And the meet tomorrow … if it’s this cold then, I’m gonna shoot myself *sigh* Why is it that the one weekend I have outside stuff to do, it’s freezing, but when I’m at home, it’s hot? Grr.

At least my hot computer is somewhat warming … and I’m worried about Brad. He said “brb” around 10:15 last night … but then he didn’t get back on, when he said he would. And hasn’t yet … at least I don’t think so. My stupid computer turned itself off sometime before I checked it in the morning … so he might’ve gotten on after 11:30 when I went to bed … but I doubt it. He had work this morning (I think) … but yeah *sigh* I’m all paranoid now … like last night I asked him if anything was wrong, ’cause he was unusually quiet and asking me weird questions (like if I thought he was mean and what I’d think of him if I wasn’t going out with him), and he was like, “not really, I don’t think so” or something like that … man, I really hope he doesn’t break up with me. I don’t know what I’d do … *cries* …

Next year’s classes, happy Brad time.

Arrow Friday, April 5, 2002 @ 9:24 pm

Sorry for not writing in here for forever. This week’s been okay … I have ACTs and the walk-a-thon tomorrow. Fun fun. Gotta remember to ask Brad if he wants to sponsor me. I would be looking through my ACT packet right now — if Ms. Bonner hadn’t forgotten to GIVE me one on the bus on Wednesday *sigh* Oh well … it’s probably nothing too different. Called Dad earlier today to tell him what I’d picked course-wide for next year. He flipped when I said I was taking “pop culture” instead of philosophy, ’cause “pop culture” looks like a slacker course. Oh well, I guess he’s kinda right — half of pop culture would be about stuff I don’t care about, like movies/actors and how pop culture is influenced by stuff. Ms. Shotwell’s a good teacher for it … but oh well. Philosophy does sound kinda cool. I guess I gotta take Spanish 4 too *dies* … I’ve heard bad things about Ms. deButts. Went to the college fair at Mason on Wednesday. Brad couldn’t come ’cause of homework, but it was still cool — I’m now in love with the Bradley College of Art and Design, even though it’s not that hard to get into. But hey, it has both web and graphic design as majors, so yay. Brad and I are also on the same level sex-wise now too … I’d been thinking that we shouldn’t do it as much, like save it for special occassions and stuff, but then woah, he asks me the exact same thing, and I’m like dude, this rocks. We were also playing around with the smiley faces on AIM, and I go, well  x infinity, then he goes  x infinity x time, I say I probably couldn’t beat that (hehe), but then he goes, oh I can, and does  x infinity x time x the amount I love you. So aww … me encanta Brad mucho … or something. But um … he just got online … and I IMed him … and he hasn’t replied .. *tries not to jump to conclusions*

End of spring break.

Arrow Monday, April 1, 2002 @ 12:31 pm

*sigh* Well, my much-anticipated spring break is ending tomorrow *cries* For once it’s been awesome … just look at the last entry. Though I have a crapload of reading to do for school, that’s really the only major setback … as well as Dad getting on my nerves more than usual. But oh well … and the fact that I can’t come home next weekend ’cause of ACTs, the walk-a-thon, and riding finals. So grr to that. It’s kinda good though (I guess) … the next closed weekend isn’t ’til exams, so yay!

And man, summer is gonna be crazy … I’ll have a job (which equals $$$ ), be able to spend lots of time with Brad and friends … and just yay. Hopefully just a longer version of the past 2 weeks. Let’s see, I’ve accomplished the seemingly impossible task of stripping my walls bare at the moment (though they will soon be halfway covered again soon), been officially drunk and messed up so much that I couldn’t walk (haha), gone all the way with Brad … experienced college life (somewhat), done a lot web-wise … and gone rollerblading (yesterday) for the first time in like, ever — which proves that I need to start riding 5 days a week now — I’m so out of shape! Haha. And yeah … *sigh* … going from seeing Brad almost every day to once every 2 weeks is not gonna be fun … but hey, shit happens (in Brad’s words, lol). Well, I g2g to bed before Dad gets pissed at me, but I’ll ttyl … and let you know how the back-to-school stuff goes.

Note to self: make DDR CD for laptop, read, and get black ink at Staples. And stop forgetting to do the Friday Five! LOL.
