If you love me say I do.
Sunday, April 28, 2002 @ 1:09 am *happy sigh* … tonight was so awesome. Brad and I went to Tysons so he could look at/buy stuff from EMS, and then we had “dinner” at McDonald’s ’cause it was the only place open in the food court, lol. It was sweet ’cause he’d either hold my hand or have his arm around my shoulder as we were walking down the aisles … and it just gives you that feeling like everything’s finally perfect … ’cause there were hardly any other people around ’cause the mall was closing … and yeah. I was just like yay, hehe, I have the most awesomest guy in the world, and you don’t
LOL.
Then we drove home (during which we experienced skidding — literally — to a stop light, lol … and the cabby beside us was like yeah, rock on!), jamming to random songs like “Stairway to Heaven” and “MMMBop” on the way
Once at home (well, his house), we summarized the night to his mom, listened to some weird/funny stories/songs about a Duke of Earl on CD (during which we just lay there in each others arms … aw, one of the things I love the most), and then watched part of “Fight Club” with his mom while eating Bottlecaps (the candy, not the real thing). I had to be home by 12:30, so at midnight we exchanged a million kisses goodnight, and hopefully we’ll have time to hang out one more time tomorrow before I get to be stuck at school for 2 weeks again. He said he’ll call after work, so yeah … we’ll see then.
And driving home was relaxing … I had my new Savage Garden CD playing … and the sound of that, blended with that of the rain and the look of it drifting off the windshield was just really cool. Plus, the roads were almost deserted, so I didn’t have to worry about getting blinded by spray, though one time while passing a bunch of slow cars I had to the turn the wipers up to super-fast speed to make sure I was staying in my lane … but other than that, everything was fine.
*sigh* And this might sound random, but I have a hunch that Brad and I will get married someday … he keeps making little references to it. A few weeks ago after I had taken off all my rings, he was like, “ya know, one day you’ll have to take off those rings permanently, to make room for a wedding band.” A few days ago he asked if I could see myself getting married to him (which I of course said yes to), and yesterday while we were making dinner, he kept saying jokingly to his parents, “yeah, Claire and I have made a pact, if we get married, she’ll go out and earn all the money, and I’ll stay home and be the house husband, aside from teaching.” Hehe, I was just like aww. And as soon as he said the word “married,” everyone glanced at us for a second with expressions of “woah cool” across their faces
So yeah … well, I’m gonna head to bed now, but will update everyone (if anyone actually reads this thing, lol) later. Peace.
