Career Day.
Saturday, March 4, 2000 @ 1:48 pm Well, Career Day wasn’t that bad. Two out of the three people that I met were actually interesting, and I even got a stress ball from the lady that I didn’t like. Pretty cool, huh? The trip to the Air & Space Museum yesterday was so tiring … just don’t even ask. Okay, we had to walk around for five hours, and on top of that, I stupidly brought my heavy backpack. And this is a first, as well — the IMAX film that everyone saw made me dizzy. I think it was because we were all sitting in the second row from the front, but it’s still kinda weird. I mean, I can go onto the Steel Phantom with no problem at all, but some little IMAX film makes me dizzy. Hmm … Oh, and remind me to never go into the Hirshhorn Museum again. The art there was just plain freaky, and who in their right mind would make a gigantic stick of butter out of yellow wax, put it on a gigantic wrapper, place it in the middle of a bare wooden floor, and call it art? And who would make a bloody soldier head out of concrete and make the nose out of a bomb? Sometimes I just don’t understand this world, even though I am an artist (somewhat) …
I get to go flying tomorrow! Yay!
